HIKING AND MOUNTAINBIKING:
The vastness and splendid landscapes make Hungary the ideal country to go hiking and biking.
Horseback riding:Hungary is the land of the horses.
The puszta is the perfect place to ride a horse, or to make a ride in a carriage with the whole family.
One could also go see the traditional horse shows, and have dinner accompanied by one of the typical Hungarian bands.
 
MOTORBIKE RIDING:
What is better than riding a motorbike through beautiful landscapes under the sun?
 
FISHING:
With 3200 km2 of streaming water and 1700 km2 of still water, Hungary is an attractive fishing area.
Hungarians are fond of fishing themselves, so in every village you’ll find a fishing pool.

BUDAPEST:
Paris of the east.
Budapest is a mixture of Vienna, Prague, Berlin and Paris – and still it has its own character.
From Bed and Breakfast Erdö-inn you can travel to Budapest by train – a direct connection, and the train will bring you right to the centre of Budapest.
(journey takes 1,25 hours, two way ticket costs around 12 euros)
 
EGER:
There where the Bukk mountain range begins, you can find one of the most beautiful cities of Hungary, surrounded by hills covered by grapevines.
The walls of the citadel of Eger are Hungaries national symbol of power and independence.
A city worth paying a visit!

KECSKEMÉT:
Kecskemét only lies 30 minutes away from B&B Erdö-inn, and is the Mekka of Jugentstil and an important religious centre.
Catholics, protestants, reformed, orthodox and jewish – they all have their sacred places of worship.
Kecskemét is also the orchard of the fertile land between Donau and Tisza. 
 
SZEGED:
Szeged lies where the rivers Tisza and Maros join, on 15 km from the Serbian border.
Szeged is the hidden capital of Hungary.
With its medieval city centre, Szeged is also being referred to as the city of the sun.
By its many beautiful parks, squares and fountains, this city invites you to sit down in a sidewalk café and enjoy the sun, the peacefulness and the great food.

APAJ-PUSZTA:
In between Kecskemét and Budapest lies the second biggest puszta of Hungary.
The Shepherds Days are being held here in the end of July, and at this festival you can enjoy the craftsmanship of hatmakers, saddlemakers and potters.
There’s also a number of international horse events taking place on the Apaj-Puszta. 
 
BUGAC-PUSZTA:
Forty km south-west of Kesckemét the landscape changes into an area covered in oak and alder trees, old junipers, acacias, wetlands and sand dunes.
This is the Bugac-puszta, and an excellent way of exploring this area is by carriage.

SUNDAY MARKETS:
In the near surroundings of the Bed and Breakfast there’s many different farmers’ markets to be found.
These markets supply the local inhabitants, and everything is being sold here: pigs, cows, horses, poultry, but also clothing, pots, pans and souvenirs.
When tired of walking, you could take a break and enjoy the local Hungarian kitchen in one of the many little restaurants. 
 
 PALENKA MUSEUM:
Palenka is the national drink of Hungary.
In this museum you can find all about the history and the distilling process of palenka.
It’s also possible to taste different varieties of the drink.
 
SPAS:
At 10 km from our Bed and Breakfast lies a huge spa complex.
Here you can relax and give yourself a treat.
There’s plenty of possibilities: pedicures, manicures, saunas, beauty treatments…
Kids won’t get bored either: the spa has a gigantic swimming pool with 17 exciting water slides.
 
NATIONAL PARKS:
The many different parks with their beauty and nature are surely worth paying a visit.
